I called Norwich veterinary hospital for an appointment.The front desk gave my cat an appointment in one hour before closing time. My cat stopped eating & drinking for 24 hours. She was vomiting, side spasms, hiding in a corner. This became an urgent situation. There were two prior episodes while under the care of an old vet. The old vet gave fluids Under the skin, appetite stimulant injections. It helped for 24 hours after that my cat was very sick again. There was no resolution to the problem. After a second visit to the old vet a prescription cat food wet & dry was provided. The regular dental were to still to be given. The old vet ran bloodwork which was normal, xray normal nothing injested like a string to cause obstruction. Two office visits neither helped. Dr. Pollack at Norwich veterinary hospital spent considerable time to evaluate my cats illness. She said bloodwork& xray normal...but "What is this"? The doctor took a lot of time calling several hospital testing centers. She obtained necessary information & quicker scheduling as an option. If I decided not to go for additional testing. Dr. Pollack provided an in office treatment. The office treatment has been a solution along with special prescription diet. It has worked now for several weeks. Dr. Pollack wanted me to update her on my cats condition, questions. The prescription diet wet & dry cat food is working. Dr. Pollack knew the prescription & non prescription dental treats from old vet are to be discontinued. The old vet missed this. Dr Pollack advised that these particular dental treats may interfere with her special diet for food allergies for her existing condition. If your looking for an excellent, compassionate, knowledgeable vet Dr. Pollack is the one. I'd like to thank Dr. Pollack and staff for everything!

I took a friend to the Norwich Veterinary with her dog who passed away. The employees were very sympathetic, and patient with my friend. They (employees) explain what the steps for cremation clearly. My friend was heartbroken but at ease. Thank you Norwich Veterinary for the compassion, caring, friendly, and Love for all the years that chloe went to your office.
