I will forever dislike this place with my whole heart. I'm 17 and going to college to be a vet tech, and while living on a farm for my whole life I understand horses more then most. yesterday (4/10/2026) my grandma noticed her horse wasn't eating his food and hadn't pooped, that raised a huge concern for her, so she called salmon brooke and got a hold of Dr Weber. well he came to her house which is in Torrington. he took the horses temperature which was lower then the normal temperature that a horse should be at. he did a rectal examination just to make sure, he claimed nothing was wrong and he's fine. mind you she has been a horse owner since my mom was little, so she knew something was very wrong with the way he was acting. well today (4/11/2026), I got a call from my grandma telling me her horse had passed away. within 10 minutes I was in her driveway. as I walk to the pasture I see star (her horse) laying lifeless on the ground with a blanket over him. the side of his stomach that was showing was hard as a rock and the bottom of his stomach was SPONGY. long story short my uncle watched star have YELLOW/GREEN SLIME drip out of his nose and mouth. and star put his head up, opened his mouth and groaned very loud. then star slowly creeped down, layed down and took his last breath as he slowly drifted into a forever sleep. my grandma has lost my mom, that was so tragic but losing her horse after years of the loss of my mom I completely thought she was going to have a heart attack today. and my grandma still has to pay Dr Weber for taking his temperature and telling her star was just fine. oh and by the way star had a esophageal obstruction. which could have been treated if seen earlier by Dr Weber.

My experience with this place was that the staff didn’t communicate well and that my dog’s general wellbeing was an afterthought. I had to take my dog to an emergency room to get the answers and medication regimen she needed. Luckily, I know someone in this field who actually cares and wants to help and not pickpocket me along the way.
