Always the best service for a routine visit or an emergency. Your pets come first. Extremely caring during heartfelt emergencies. Everyone there puts you at ease and takes the time so you can make the right decisions. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Alter is truthful and caring. I trust him to do what's right for my pets and he explains why. Thank you.

Dr. Alter, Angela and his team are the most charismatic, genuine, and compassionate staff I’ve experienced. Taking your fur babies to the vet is stressful enough, but they go above and beyond to ensure they provide the best care. My cat had constipation issues and they were hands on to show me the X-rays and provided a step-by-step plan to solve the problem. They listen, they care, and they help. They all knew my Aunt and would ask how she is doing and that was a BIG reason why I decided to make them my primary vet. Thank you to the staff for being the BEST experience I’ve ever had while taking my cat to the vet.

I am absolutely thrilled that we found Pets Friend through a neighbor's recommendation. We'd previously been going to a vet in New Haven that upcharged like crazy, pushed unnecessary services, and had horrible staff that would treat me like a bad dog owner for not doing $300/month "preventative" bloodwork. Ever since we switched we've been so happy and our dog Luna has had incredible care. The doctor is very mindful of not doing unnecessary procedures and is extremely knowledgeable, and his recommended treatment for our dog's arthritis has made her feel four years younger and so much happier. The entire staff is beyond wonderful, they're so kind and helpful that I truly feel like my dog is in the best hands possible. Angela especially is Luna's favorite, she's so scared of the vet in general but she'll rush up the ramp to go see her. I trust all of them implicitly, you can really tell that they're in it because they love animals.
