Highly recommend Northford Vet! The staff is compassionate and patient — always happy to answer my various questions and assuage any of my concerns as best they can. Dr. Minott is wonderful — he is extremely knowledgeable and happy to give the in depth reasoning/science behind his answers to questions or his veterinary advice. We’re lucky to have such a great practice in our small town!

Honestly if I could give ZERO stars, I would. I have been going to Dr Azzolin since 2010 I would estimate. He is AMAZING and no matter what was wrong with my often sick kitty, he would be correct before tests even confirmed. When he sold the practice and is only there 2x a month, I try to coordinate appts with him only. A few times I had to see the new doctor and hes nice enough I guess, but he does NOT give the same amount of care. I brought my 16yo cat there a couple weeks ago telling him she was having trouble eating and there was something wrong with her mouth. He looked quick and did not see anything. He was quick to take more bloodwork even though she just had blood about 6 weeks prior.(she has been in stage 2-3 kindney disease for several years) Let me tell you what he not only missed, but was clearly not interested in finding under her tongue. A HUGE squamous cell carcinoma tumor/lesion that has invaded a large part of her mouth. Dr A would NEVER of missed that. Dr. M also did not even ask to see the videos I took of her trying to eat. After the bloodwork came back his cold, uncaring, tech, Erika called (2/17/26) and said they can get her into dental surgery on JULY 31ST. I told her she would be DEAD by then. While waiting for an appt with a specialist, I asked for 5 days of pain meds to help my girl through and his covering Dr said NO. due to the "opioid crisis" he would not prescribe me anything for her. I was told to take her to the ER and they can place a feeding tube. WHO DOES THAT? WHAT KIND OF VET IS SO COLD HEARTED? He also lied and told me that there were no pain meds avail in the safe. I then went to a vet dental specialist on 2/24 who found the huge lesion in seconds and adv me it was bad. My girl will be crossing the rainbow bridge Monday 3/2 with Dr. Azzolin. I wont be going back to that practice after 16+ years. DONE. Let me be clear tho. Dr. Azzolin and Vet tech Corrie and office staff Cindy are AMAZING, if the practive was still in the hands with them 3, I would stay forever. I always joke to Dr. A that he cannot fully retire until Keiko passes. Sadly this day has come. I can't help but wonder if Dr. Minot took the time to look in her mouth with my initial complaint, he may of found it while it was managable and operable. Heartbreaking what this practice has become.

This vet is very difficult to get a hold of on the website it says they’re open today at 12:30 so then I waited to call until 130 then another website said they were closed until two tried calling after two now this is the Monday after a holiday and when I call it says they’re closed very confusing on what their hours are I’ve only used them once before and I’m not sure if I’ll stay there I doubt it
