Not a real vet. They seen my dog and couldn’t help me and my dog died days later. Save your money and don’t even bother with health insurance with them. We ended up going to a real vet but by then it was to late.

Banfield, specifically the Plainville location has completely messed our dogs vaccines and records up. We used Banfield in other states for 7 years with no issues before moving to CT and using the Plainville location. The most notable issue, I took my dog in for a routine dental cleaning, as she had done many times before. During the procedure they called me saying my dog needed multiple teeth pulled, of course at an additional cost. I said no thank you. When I picked her up, and was checking out they nonchalantly mentioned several teeth had fallen out during the procedure. So I’m sure the teeth had fallen out and to get more money from us, they called me saying they “needed to be pulled”. Another instance, they said she needed a Lyme vaccine, never mentioned the additional cost. I of course took her back to Banfield solely to get this vaccine. Today, on her records listed under her vaccines given, it said she did get the vaccine that I paid for but in the doctor notes from that same day, it says she did not get the vaccine. Which would mean I brought her in and they told me she received the vaccine AND I PAID FOR A VACCINE that she NEVER got. Also, they had a completely different micro chip number listed for her than what it actually is. Such a horrible “vet”. We are a military family and move around a lot. I like to keep Banfield for that reason but I was relieved to switch her and never have to deal with their BS at this location.
