My emergency visit to this vet hospital was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The woman at the front desk was rude, unprofessional and lacked communication skills. The visit was approximately 4 hours with 95% of that time waiting to be seen. When we were finally seen and given the diagnosis, it was another hour and a half before we received his medication and we were never given his discharge paperwork. Why would it take an hour and a half to receive medication and no paperwork? I had to call this morning to have the paperwork emailed to me and confirm it was being sent to his primary care vet. They have my email address on file so this was either intentional or negligent. Either way, the level of unprofessionalism was stark. I will drive the extra miles to go elsewhere. Thank God my pet wasn’t in a more dire situation!

I had an emergency with my cat. Drove an hour because I trusted this vet service… yet turned away because I was 5 minutes late. I get that I was late but traffic is hard to plan on and I even tried to called to let the vet know I’d be late, left me on hold for 15 minutes during said hour drive and hung up on me. Very let down!

Horrible experience KEEP AWAY waited over 4 hours just to have them want to charge between $3,167-$5,000+ for overnight stay all they check was weight, temp, heart, & gums at first. If I had known it'd take that long for them to do any diagnostic testing. I would have never came. My cat is thin, vomiting, tired, and unwell I told them he had IBD that was clinically diagnosed by my vet and I just wanted to make sure he wasn't dying. Finally, see the vet after blood work and then she wants to see if we want to schedule the abdominal ultrasound. We declined it would be cheaper to do it with my local vet. It seemed like after that response. The vet said they dont carry the steroid that my vet prescribed for my cat. Your an animal hospital how do you not carry it? Unbelievable it almost seemed retaliatory. They also gave him fluids yeah because you kept us waiting for 3.5+ hours with no water! Then, made us wait even longer for them to clean up eat and didnt even give him any steroids. Then handed us the discharge paper. Stay away they dont care and want your $$$$!

Pieper staff is real and down to earth and knows their stuff. They took care of my wild child cat super professionally and kindly today. You guys made my day with ur compassion and caring approach to my Tofi. Shes a fiesty girly but came home super calm and happy so you must have been awesome with her! Much gratitude!!!
