I have been taking my cats to North Haven Animal Hospital for over 2 years. They are the best. The vets are kind and knowledgeable and experts at taking care of animals' medical needs. The office staff is friendly and efficient. I recommend them most highly.

I chose this veterinary office because I believed it to be a locally owned, community-based practice. Unfortunately, I was wrong. After years of going to Banfield Pet Hospital, I was looking for a privately owned practice. Before choosing NHAH, I checked their website, and it talks about its local roots and references the original doctors who owned the practice. Based on that, I believed I was selecting an independent, locally owned veterinary office. I’ve had positive experiences with the staff and the veterinarian I’ve worked with. They’ve been kind and professional, so this is in no way a negative review of the employees at this practice. However, I have learned that in October of 2024 this practice was acquired by corporate/private equity groups, which is specifically what I was trying to avoid in leaving Banfield. North Haven Animal Hospital is now part of Alliance Animal Health, a larger corporate veterinary group backed by private equity (including L Catterton and LightBay Capital). I was unable to find this information disclosed anywhere on the practice’s website. Supporting small, independent businesses is important to me, and I made my choice with that intention. For pet owners who feel similarly, clearer disclosure of ownership would be helpful in making fully informed decisions. This may not matter to everyone, but it was an important factor for me when choosing a provider.

Gus Gus loves coming to your vet practice! Everyone is so friendly. We are in and out in a few minutes. Love all the reminders. We will never miss a visit. They keep us on track for shots and tests. Gus loves his vets! When my son and daughter both brought puppies into their homes, I recommended your hospital to both of them and now we are a North Haven Animal Hospital family with three happy healthy dogs!
